OPS members have received a contract offer from the employer, “rolling over” their existing collective agreement, with a number of positive changes and no concessions. OPS members will be voting on this offer on June 20, 21 and 22, 2017.

Join us at a virtual town hall

OPSEU is holding a series of telephone town halls this week to give OPS members across the province an opportunity to ask questions about the employer’s contract offers to both Unified and Corrections OPS members.

All OPS members are invited to attend these interactive telephone town halls. They will also be streamed live online. This is your chance to find out more about the contract offers so you can make an informed decision when you vote. We’ll be taking questions and comments live from OPS members who call in.

We’ll call you and connect you to the town hall

OPS members will be receiving calls to join the telephone town halls on the following dates and times (Eastern Time). You can pick the time that works best for you – just answer the phone when we call at one of these times and we’ll patch you through to the town hall:

  • Friday, June 16, 2017: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The same information will be covered on all dates and times, so it is only necessary to attend one town hall session.

What if I’m not home during the town hall?

That’s okay – you can still join in from another location by phone, or listen online through online audio streaming.
