The importance of updating your contact info
Did you get the latest OPS Table Talk newsletter from our bargaining teams? Did Smokey call you last month? NO?? Then maybe it’s time to update your contact information.
It’s the one thing we dread doing when we move or change phone numbers; the time to update our contact information. Just like updating your contact information with your bank or credit card, it’s equally important to update this information with your union.
OPSEU maintains a database of your contact information in order to reach you about important news and notices. This is especially true during negotiations. But if you move, that information isn’t automatically updated. Some people may think it is connected to your HR and pay records but that is not true. So if you moved 10 yrs ago or last week, it’s time to update your contact information.
I challenge you!
