Inspiring and totally unexpected but without a doubt – truly appreciated and exhilarating.

I am very proud of the many of showed up not only at MCB for me to witness personally (estimated at a minimum of 150 to 200 people) but also the very strong response at 1055 Princess with an estimate of 60 to 70 present. In addition to thanking all of the OPSEU members who came out (including the ODSP group from 1055) I wish to thank the AMAPCEO contingent at both locations for their support.

You have all got something to be very proud of for your decision to be a part of this event. I have to be honest when I say that this is not expected to be the only time I will send a request to gather and show our solidarity and support. I expect to be asking again for those who made the commitment to participate to do so again and for those who could not or didn’t, I hope that another opportunity will result in an even bigger gathering. You were very close to completing the ring around MCB (three of four sides covered) and I have no doubt that if afforded the chance to do it again, we will succeed. And who knows, maybe with help we will be able to do the same at 1055 as well.

Dang you folks were great today and so supportive and patient.

Thank you and hopefully you feel pride in what you accomplished when you see the pictures.
