The Region 4 bargaining conference was held in Belleville this past weekend   Frank Wendling was elected as the Region 4 delegate for the Administrative group and I was elected as delegate for the OPM/TEC group.  We both move on to the OPS Central Bargaining conference in Toronto on June 23rd where we will run for election to your OPS bargaining team.  Elected as alternates to various categories were Jim Puckalo and Anne Jennings.  It is clear that bargaining a new collective agreement is going to be difficult and there are many issues to be resolved.  It’s serious business with far reaching implications and Frank and I are grateful for the chance to run for a spot on the team.
