Collective Bargaining surveys

We’ve been advised that the members surveys for our next round of contract talks should arrive Friday morning.  If that does indeed happen, we will do our best to pick them up and distribute them to stewards in the various buildings for distribution to our membership.  Unfortunately, our time lines are extremely short.  With our Local demand set meeting scheduled for May 16th at the MCB cafeteria, we MUST have the surveys back no later than the morning of Friday, May 11th.  The results will then be tabulated and presented at the demand set meeting to be discussed by the members from the various classifications.  It is critical that we have Quorum of 35 members for this meeting.  If we do not, our election of delegates to the regional meetings in Belleville will not be valid and our voice will not be heard.  Those are the rules folks.  We have to follow them.  Once again, please read carefully the surveys and get them back to your steward as quickly as possible.
